About Us

We are a secular collective of Northwest Arkansas residents who believe in the right to reproductive and abortion services free from judgment or stigma. We provide support for any pregnant person regardless of their beliefs or situation. We value mutual aid and envision a community in which we collaboratively meet each other’s needs. We believe that no one should have to justify their needs in order to have them met.

Our members are from many different backgrounds and our training comes from our experiences and preparation as doulas, midwives, activists, nurses, scholars, social workers, neighbors, friends, people who have had abortions, and who might one day have an abortion. We are not a charity or a non-profit. We hope to build a circle of mutual support that will grow until it includes everyone. The model of a circle means we all share the work, we all give help, and we all ask for help when we need it.

Our support is always free.

We can help with:

  • Abortion Support

We believe abortion should be safe, legal and accessible to anyone who needs it, for any reason.

Abortion is not currently legal in the state of Arkansas. We are committed to helping people assess their options for obtaining an abortion.

  • Reproductive Health Support

    • Physical and emotional support for sexual health and pelvic health visits

    • Identifying options for nonjudgmental pregnancy care

    • Help for birth parents navigating options for adoption in our area

    • Accessing and understanding birth control and safer sex needs

  • Parenting and Family Support

    • Accessing resources such as WIC, ARKids, and Medicaid

    • Referral to community partners who can help with diapers, formula, and other baby/child needs

    • Community-building and care networks for families

  • Anything else that fits within our values and mission

Many of us have expertise in the areas above, but we are also just people learning how to thrive. Sometimes it’s easier to do something hard with someone else beside you, and we are here to be that person for you.

Our values

Bodily Autonomy

Our bodies belong to us, each of us is the best judge of what our body needs, and we have the final say in what happens to our own bodies.

Compassion

We all deserve care and understanding to help us in our time of need.

Privacy

The decisions we make for our health and well-being are no one’s business but our own, unless and until we choose to share them.

Equitable Access

Access to abortion and other reproductive needs—such as birth control, safe housing, regular health checks, formula, and diapers—should not be limited by location, insurance status, or ability to pay.

Gender Diversity

Access to reproductive health information and resources is important for all genders. People of all gender identities have abortions. Our transgender and gender non-conforming neighbors often have more barriers to meeting these needs, and we strive to help our community remove those barriers.

Racial Justice + Anti-Racism

Our neighbors of color often have more obstacles to safe abortion and reproductive health care, which we believe the abortion rights movement has not always taken into account. We work to support our neighbors of color in seeking care, and work to ensure that conversations around abortion rights and related systems address and acknowledge those obstacles.
