Frequently Asked Questions

  • What happens when I ask for support?

We’re glad you made it here! One of our members will reach out to you within 24-48 hours. For privacy reasons, we may ask that we move the conversation to a phone call or Signal, a secure messaging app.

  • Why do I need to use Signal?

Signal is a messaging app similar to WhatsApp or GroupMe. Signal is designed for more secure conversations due to its privacy policies and end-to-end encryption. You can learn more about their security commitments at their help desk.

  • Who sees my personal information when I reach out?

You have full control of the information you choose to disclose and to whom. In most cases, this means 1-2 people in our group will have information about your specific needs. We always have two members on any abortion support request.

  • What kind of support do you offer?

We primarily provide information so individuals in our community can make choices that are right for them. This includes information about clinics, birth workers, relevant resources, and the abortion process.

We have supported individuals with logistical issues such as finding transportation, lodging, or funding. We also help with more immediate issues like pain management or emotional support. We offer safe spaces for any type of emotional expression throughout the process.
